Isaiah 12 v 3 "With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation"

Water is so important to life and the wells in both old and new Testament times were essential for the people and their flocks. When Jesus met with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well,He said that he could give her living water see  John chapter 4 . Later speaking  to the people in the temple he promised them that if they came to him he would give them living water. See John 7 v 37 to 39.

Trusting in God

Do you have a scripture that you return to again and again, that is a source of strength for you? Mine is Isaiah 12 v 1 to 6. Maybe you would like to share what yours is and why.

Isaiah 12 v 2 says"Surely God is my salvation I will trust and not be afraid" This puts me in mind of a child holding his Father's hand secure in his strength and love.
